CLT T20:Abhishek Nayar Replaces Injured Dhawal Kulkarni For Mumbai Indians:
Abhishek Nayar has been brought in to the Mumbai Indians squad as a replacement for the injured Dhawal Kulkarni for the Champions League Twenty-20 tournament currently underway in South Africa.
Kulkarni, during training, injured his back a day before the Champions League had started.
However, it is still unsure whether Nayar would be flown in on time for Mumbai’s match against the South Australian Redbacks on the 14th of September.
Abhishek Nayar had missed most part of the IPL, managing to play only three matches as he was recovering from a wrist injury.
Nayar’s inclusion in the side adds more strength to the already strong batting line-up of the Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai, after a stunning loss in the tournament-opener against the Highveld Lionswould be determined to post a win when they take on South Australia at Kingsmead, Durban.
