Alexandra Burke is planning to celebrate her topping the UK singles chart with two new tattoos. The 22-year-old singer, who won Simon Cowell’’s talent show The X Factor in 2008, bagged the number one slot on Sunday with ”Start Without You” featuring Laza Morgan, reported Contactmusic.

The British singer celebrated with a performance at London’’s G-A-Y club over the weekend and was presented with a cake adorned with an image of Cowell’’s face. But she’’s decided to defy her mentor and add to her body art to commemorate her chart-topping song.

“I”m sure Simon will smile when he hears we were all eating icing with a photo of his face on it. I”m celebrating going to No 1 by getting two new tattoos.

Simon has told me ”No more tattoos please”, but hey, I”ve never been one to do as I”m told,” said Burke.
